GamestecPlaynation Group supports local Easter Egg Hunt

Staff at the leading national operator GamestecPlaynation recently joined forces to support a charity local to its Nottingham headquarters, Treetops Hospice Care, providing 150 Easter Eggs for its annual Easter Egg Hunt and helping to raise over £4,000 on the day.

 

Donations of Easter Eggs ensured 500 children were able to enjoy a fantastic day, in beautiful weather, and support the amazing work carried out at Treetops. Families were also able to meet the Easter Bunny and Peppa Pig and enjoy a Chocolate Tombola and other entertainment and refreshments.

Treetops Hospice Care provides end-of-life nursing care and emotional support for adults and their families in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. It aims to make every day count by giving the highest quality support to patients and families living with life-limiting illness or affected by death, ensuring the best possible patient experience is achieved.

Jess Breame, Treetops Events Fundraiser, said: “Our Annual Easter Egg Hunt is always really popular, with families coming from across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire to enjoy hunting around our 12-acre site for eggs that have been generously donated by local people and businesses. The Egg Hunt always puts a smile on children’s faces and, at the same time, helps us to raise precious funds.”


Julie Taylor and Rachel Espinoza based at companies Commercial Office in Sandiacre, added: “A massive thank you must go to our staff and the company for the generous donations of Easter Eggs. It was a great feeling to deliver the eggs in person and help the Treetops staff and volunteers, who work tirelessly on a daily basis to make this remarkable hospice the place it is today.”
