Gamestec showcases iPub2 developments at ICE
For national operator Gamestec, this year’s ICE extravaganza was all about showcasing best of breed content for its tier-one digital gaming platform iPub2.
The key message focussed on reinforcing iPub 2 as an enhanced platform with the capability to deliver best in class results through utilising solid state drive (SSD) among other technological advancements. The show was also used to promote a range of Batman licensed games designed to capture the imagination of all player types.
To cement the millennial theme, Gamestec ran an immersive virtual reality competition over the first two days of ICE. Held in a brilliantly themed gaming room titled Barcade, the event gave specially invited customers the opportunity to play classic pub games such as darts, pool and skittles to name but a few, with the winner of the overall event, Karl Johnson of Stonegate, taking home a full VR Playstation package
Gamestec Sales and Marketing Director Lee Jefferson commented: “iPub2 has come an incredibly long way in terms of technology and class leading content and we were keen to use ICE 2017 to demonstrate those developments to our customers. On reflection we achieved that and so much more as we were constantly inundated with inquiries and meetings for the duration of the show, resulting in a wealth of positive feedback. We’d also like to thank all those who came to take part in our VR competition which brought some fun and entertainment to proceedings.”
