Gamestec Playnation Group raise over £4000 for charity.
Derbyshire based charity, Treetops, have been overwhelmed with a huge £4062.10 donation from the Gamestec Playnation Group.
This incredible amount has been achieved through the sale of raffle tickets for prizes donated by some of their key customers and product partners, along with a charity bike ride taken on by their very own Peter Smith. Treetops Hospice are hoping to raise enough money to pay for an extension at their beautiful care centre in Risley, Derbyshire. Treetops is a fantastic non-profit organisation which supports people with illnesses such as cancer, motor neurone disease and multiple sclerosis. It also supports their carers and families.
Peter Davies MD of the Gamestec Playnation Group, who proudly presented the cheque of £4062.10 to the organisation commented “Treetops is a fantastic charity and we are very proud to have raised so much for them, our teams have worked incredibly hard to pull together this event and due to the generosity of our customers and product partners who donated prizes for the event, we have seen a huge demand for tickets from within our business. I’d like to say a huge thank you to all of those who have donated prizes, and to all of those that have taken part. A big thanks to Rachael Espinoza and Julie Taylor for pulling together the raffle and for their fantastic organization and ticket sales prowess and also a well done to Peter Smith for completing his challenging bike ride.
