Gamestec Moves up To The Next Level
16/02/2010The managers of Gamestec, the UK’s leading gaming machine operator, have taken part in a conference to ensure they are working together to take the company to the next level.
Over 100 managers attended the event at Burton Albion Football Ground aimed at unveiling the company’s roadmap to deliver real improvements in customer service, operational performance and creating exclusive and innovative new products.
The company also announced it is investing in information technology to create a robust and scalable customer focused business.
Managers heard key note speeches from parent company Danoptra’s CEO Derek Lloyd, Managing Director Chris Butler and presentations from each of the other directors.
The event also featured a series of awards for managers recognising their efforts within the business.
Awards were given to managers who had gone the extra mile by helping the company and its customers above and beyond the call of duty. Specific projects recognised included developing new products, improving collection services and developing the business in Scotland.
The event offered the opportunity for managers across the business to meet colleagues they would not normally have contact with and included some more light hearted moments such as an Apprentice style team building exercise with Chris Butler playing the role of Alan Sugar.
Chris Butler, Managing Director of Gamestec, said “It’s been a tremendously positive event and we achieved our two objectives of shaping our vision of Gametec’s business future and using it as an opportunity to raise the morale of all our managers.”
“It has been a turbulent year or two and we’ve put in place a new management team. The company is now in good financial shape but there are lots more ways we can improve further.”
“Our main focus is now on creating real value for our customers by giving them the service they deserve, working with them to get the most of their existing estate and coming up with exciting new products to improve their income.”
“It has also been good to take part in our team building exercise, relax and to get to know managers from across the business a bit better on both a personal and business basis.”
“Gamestec is determined to retain in our current position as the leading gaming machine operator. We are focusing our efforts on driving the industry forward when it comes to innovation and customer service.”
