Gamestec Make Digital Jukeboxes More Affordable

14/07/2009

gtmusicGamestec, the UK’s leading gaming machine and jukebox operator, has launched a new exclusive, cost-effective digital jukebox.

The GT Music meets demand from licensees for a cheaper digital music solution. It has been developed by leading jukebox manufacturer Sound Leisure and is only available from Gamestec.

The GT Music offers pub goers a selection of 10,000 tracks, to suit any venue. The music is updated regularly using ‘Intelligent Music Management Software’ (IMMS), which provides each site with a customer driven and profitable selection of music by adding tracks to the jukebox, based on previous customer selection trends.

It has an easy to use touch screen and comes in a slim and modern wall mounted cabinet, with a pedestal option available for venues with limited wall space.

Peter Davies, Business Development Director at Gamestec, said: “We have spoken to customers who still have CD jukeboxes and although many of them can see the advantages of digital jukeboxes, with a wider choice of music and quicker updates, they haven’t been able to justify switching to digital because of the cost.”

“The GT Music is our solution – it means that those sites can now keep up with the competition by having a digital jukebox, without having to increase outgoings. The launch of this product demonstrates our commitment to supporting the pub industry during the credit crunch by selecting ‘Best of Breed’ products which offer great value for money and are profitable and popular entertainment solutions.”

Chris Black, Managing Director of Sound Leisure said: “The GT Music is the only level entry jukebox available, so it fills a gap in the market. We’ve pleased to be working with Gamestec to make digital jukeboxes more widely available to the pub industry. “
