Derek Lloyd

CEO Danoptra Limited

Prior to joining Danoptra, Derek was Managing Director of PC World Business, the third largest B2B IT reseller in the UK, operating under brands such as PC World Business, Inmac, Equanet, Microwarehouse, MacWarehouse, and Dixons Group Business Services.

Before joining DSG International Derek held senior commercial positions within Iceland frozen Foods, Boots and United Biscuits.

Chris Butler

Managing Director

After leaving university and training as an accountant, Chris joined Music Hire Group and has since spent his entire career in the machine industry. Moving to Bass he then managed what was Paymaster and Toby Sound which eventually became Leisure Link.

A move to CEO of BWB, a design and manufacturing company and part of the Barcrest group of companies followed. Bass then sold their leisure companies and Barcrest became part of IGT, the largest machine manufacturing company in the world. BWB was then re-launched under the VIVID brand and enjoyed great success with a number of award winning products, and one of the first FOBTs in the country.

After 20 years with Barcrest, further challenges came with a 3-year stint at Punch and Spirit in charge of all gaming activities as Machine and Vending Director. Machine income was high on the agenda for the retailer. Also in this period, Chris led the launch of a casino site and a dedicated internet poker room.

And finally, Chris has come full circle back to Gamestec having completed over 15 years operating, 10 years manufacturing and latterly 3 years on the retail side, all at senior or board level.

Chris’ experience encompasses all aspects of the machine world which gives an almost unique insight to the industry.
